Our Process | DMC — Digital Marketing Committee
How DMC Actually Works

No Guessing.
No Hand-Offs.
Just Work.

Every client goes through the same five-phase system. Not because it is rigid, but because it has produced the same compounding results consistently for over a decade. The process is the product.

Discovery &
Deep Audit

Before anything gets built, we take apart what already exists. We crawl the entire site, analyze how Google sees it, and map the competitive landscape in your niche. Most clients are surprised by what we find in the first 48 hours — issues that have been quietly costing them rankings for months or years.

This phase is not billable small talk. It is the foundation everything else gets built on. If we do not understand where you actually stand, everything downstream is guesswork.

Phase Deliverables
Full technical site crawl (200+ checkpoints)Every crawl error, index issue, and redirect problem ranked by priority
Core Web Vitals and page speed assessmentLCP, CLS, INP — scored against Google's ranking thresholds
Top 3 competitor backlink and content analysisWhat they rank for, why they rank, and exactly where the gaps are
Current keyword position baseline reportWhere you rank today — the starting line everything gets measured from
Discovery call debrief (60 min)We walk through every finding and answer every question before moving forward

Strategy
Architecture

The audit tells us what is broken. Strategy tells us what to build and in what order. We do not hand you a 40-page document and call it a strategy. We build a ranked action plan where every item is tied to a specific ranking outcome, a revenue opportunity, or a technical risk that needs to be neutralized.

Priority one is always fixing what is actively hurting you. Priority two is building what compounds the fastest. Priority three is scaling what is already working.

Phase Deliverables
90-day keyword and content roadmapEvery target keyword mapped to a page, a buyer intent, and a ranking timeline
Prioritized technical fix list (P1 through P3)Ranked by impact — the highest-ROI fixes get done first

Link building target listSites, domains, and tactics ranked by authority and acquisition probability
Strategy alignment call (45 min)We walk through the full plan, confirm priorities, and lock in the first 30-day sprint

90-Day Strategy Map
Primary keyword cluster (10–30 targets)
Secondary long-tail cluster (50–100 targets)
Technical P1 fixes (immediate action)

Foundation
Build

Week three is where the actual work starts. Every P1 technical fix goes live. Every existing page that can be optimized gets optimized. The internal link architecture gets rebuilt. Schema markup goes in. The site that Google crawls at the end of week four is functionally different from the one it crawled at kickoff.

Most SEO firms send you a document at this stage. DMC implements. We push changes, we fix errors, we build what was designed. You do not need to translate a recommendation into a task for your developer. That is our job.

Execution &
Compounding

This is the engine. Month two is where every system starts running simultaneously — content publishing, link acquisition, and technical monitoring all operating in parallel. Each piece of content builds topical authority. Each link raises domain rating. Each technical improvement holds the gains made in the prior month.

The compounding effect is not a metaphor. It is mathematical. Authority earned in month two still earns in month twelve. Content published in month three still ranks in month eighteen. This is why the 90-day minimum exists — you are not buying three months of work. You are buying the beginning of a system that runs indefinitely.

Monthly Cadence
Content production and publication (4–12 pieces/month by tier)Every piece mapped to a keyword cluster and internal link target
Link placement acquisition (4–10 placements/month by tier)DR 40+ minimum. No spam. No PBNs. Editorial and outreach only
Technical maintenance crawlNew errors caught and resolved before they compound into ranking losses
Existing content refresh and optimizationHigh-potential pages that are close to ranking get pushed over the line

05 Monthly — Ongoing

Report, Review
& Scale

Every month ends with a report. Not a summary PDF with vanity metrics. A real data document that shows you exactly where every keyword moved, what the organic traffic number is, how many links were built, and what the domain rating changed to. You see the numbers. You ask the questions. We answer them directly.

The strategy call is not a check-in. It is a decision meeting. We present what worked this month, what we are doing more of next month, and where additional budget would produce the fastest return. You leave every call with a clear picture of where the investment stands.

Monthly Report Contains
Keyword ranking movement (all tracked terms)Every position change vs. prior month — up, down, or new entry
Organic traffic vs. prior period (GSC data)Sessions, impressions, CTR, and average position from Google directly
Link placements delivered this monthEvery domain, DR score, and anchor text from Ahrefs — verified
Domain rating changeCurrent DR vs. baseline — the authority accumulation made visible
Next month priorities and rationaleWhat we are doing next, why, and what we expect it to move

Why It Works

The System Is the
Strategy. Not the
Other Way Around.

Most agencies build campaigns. We build systems. The difference is not semantic. A campaign has a start date and an end date. A system has a start date and no end date. It gets better the longer it runs.

Every phase of the DMC process is designed to feed the next one. The audit informs the strategy. The strategy drives the build. The build enables the execution. The execution produces the data. The data sharpens the next strategy. That loop is what compounding looks like in practice.

01

Fix Before Build

We eliminate every drag on your existing authority before adding new work on top. You cannot outrun a technical problem with more content.

02

Data Drives Decisions

Every pivot, every new content topic, every link acquisition target is backed by search data and competitor analysis. Not intuition. Not trends. Data.

03

Execution Over Advice

We do the work. You get deliverables, not recommendations. The difference between an agency and a consultant is who actually ships the work.

04

Transparency at Every Step

You see the data, the receipts, and the reasoning behind every decision. No black box. No vanity metrics. No hiding behind "proprietary methods."

DMC Commitments to Every Client
Ownership of Everything Built

All content, reports, and rankings belong to you from day one. We do not hold your data hostage if you leave.

Real Reports, Real Data

Every claim in every report is backed by a screenshot, a dashboard, or a source you can verify yourself.

Direct Communication

You work with the person doing the work, not an account manager reading scripts off a brief.

Honest Timeline Expectations

We will tell you how long things actually take. No false promises. No 30-day page-one guarantees.

If It Is Not Working, We Say So

If a strategy is not producing, we tell you why and we change it. We do not collect retainers on a plan that stopped working.

Ready to Start

The Process Starts
With One Call.

Thirty minutes. We look at your site, your competition, and your goals. Then we tell you where you stand and what Phase 01 looks like for your specific situation. No pitch, no pressure.
